Menards = Deferred Gratification

I love "Saving Big Money at Menards." For me, the lower prices make the trip to their Hammond, IN store worthwhile. In addition to the price savings, I save in sales tax (7% vs. Chicago's 9.25%). I also take the opportunity get gas and visit my parents.

This week the savings will get even better because once again (3rd time this year) they are having their 11% Rebate Sale...on everything!

Here's how it works:

  • Shop as usual.  Be sure to get a rebate form.
  • Mail in your rebate form. Note: Rebate will be in a Merchandise Credit
  • Received rebate check in mail (normally 6 to 8 weeks)

Why this works for me:

  • From the first 2 sales, I got about $132 back, which I used for small projects and supplies.
  • Menards has a diverse product offering and I can use it for anything from groceries to hardware.
  • I don't mind filing out rebates forms.

So, if you have a project in mind and need supplies head on over to Menards. My next project? Painting.

Sale Ends Saturday, August 4, 2012
